For a change here you have Melkor looking pretty dangerous actually. Not like on other pictures that I've drawn. XD

I use PaintTool SAI and PS (and lots of custom brushes that can be found around DA). I use a Wacom tablet.

I love this so muchhhh~!!! He is so terrifying and beautiful and intimidating, a creature of flaming rage and boundless might <3 What a lovely rendering of this scene! I love the way you've drawn the flames, and his armor, and his fierce expression! Though it makes me want to cry again if I think about it too hard. CHAPTER 10, WHY???
